🐾 The Office Staff Report: Frog Edition 🐾

Good morning from the Caffeinated Headquarters, where chaos reigns, fur flies, and one very confused frog learned that entering this house is a life choice it won’t make twice.

Let’s dive into this week’s highlights — because, honestly, it’s been a journey.

Operations Update

The human is flying solo again, holding down the fort while waiting for the other human to return from the mysterious land of “work.” Productivity levels are somewhere between “I opened my laptop” and “I fell asleep with it open.”

Coffee consumption has tripled.
Laundry has doubled.
Patience? Nonexistent.

The Office Staff (a.k.a. the dogs) have been pulling double shifts — alternating between supervising, interrupting Zoom calls, and staring out the window like abandoned lovers in a country music video.

🐾 Security Breach

On Wednesday night, an uninvited guest (a frog) made a surprise appearance in the living room.
The scene unfolded like a low-budget action movie:

  • The lead investigator (Spartacus) immediately sounded the alarm, barking as if he’d just discovered a national threat.
  • Charlie joined the chase, contributing by knocking over an end table and scattering papers that may or may not have been important business documents.
  • The cat, as usual, watched from atop the fridge — judging silently and probably recording it all for blackmail purposes later.

After ten minutes of screaming, slipping, and tactical maneuvering (involving a Tupperware bowl and a very uncoordinated human), the frog was captured and safely released — outside, far from our jurisdiction.
There have been no further amphibian intrusions since.

🐱 Interdepartmental Tension

The dogs continue to “collaborate” with the cat, though HR has received several complaints (from the cat) about “hostile work environments,” “chase-based intimidation,” and “being sat on without consent.”

The dogs argue it’s all part of their team-building initiative. The cat disagrees. Loudly.
Negotiations are ongoing.

🦴 Snacks & Supplies

Treat inventory hit an all-time low this week when the human discovered the biscuit jar was empty.
The dogs immediately initiated a hunger strike, which lasted approximately 45 seconds until a rogue crumb was found under the couch.
Emergency rations were later delivered (thanks, Chewy auto-ship).

The cat’s gourmet kibble remains untouched because “it’s not wet food” and she’s “not in the mood.”

🐕 Facilities & Maintenance

Walks have been rescheduled indefinitely due to “one human can’t hold two leashes and coffee at once” syndrome.
Energy levels remain high. Destruction levels… also high.
There have been at least three confirmed cases of “zoomies in the hallway” resulting in collateral damage to one slipper, two throw pillows, and an unidentified houseplant.

💼 Morale

The Office Staff has determined that morale improves significantly when the other human is home. Until then, they will continue to:

  • Nap aggressively during work hours.
  • Demand snacks at random intervals.
  • Provide emotional support by lying on the keyboard during deadlines.

Meanwhile, the human has been muttering things like, “This is fine,” “I’m not crying, you’re crying,” and “Where’s the coffee pot lid?”

🐸 Summary

The frog was evicted.
The cat is plotting revenge.
The dogs believe they saved the house from imminent doom.
The human is halfway to a caffeine overdose but still typing.

All in all — a successful week at The Caffeinated Headquarters.
The team remains loyal, loud, and slightly unhinged, as per company tradition.

Stay tuned for next week’s Office Staff Report, when the other human returns and the dogs finally remember how to act civilized (for about six minutes).
