If you’ve been around Brewed Ambitions for a while, you probably already know one thing about me:
I have a lot of ideas.
Like… a lot.
I am the kind of person who can sit down with a cup of coffee intending to work on one thing and somehow end up with three new business ideas, six tabs open, a Canva project I absolutely did not need to start, and a note on my phone that just says something like “WAIT — WHAT IF…”
And for a long time, Brewed Ambitions reflected that.
This blog has grown and changed right alongside me. I’ve tried things. I’ve changed directions. I’ve started businesses, stepped away from businesses, learned things the hard way, chased a few shiny objects, and occasionally had to admit that an idea I was absolutely convinced was brilliant…
was not, in fact, brilliant.
Welcome to entrepreneurship. 😂
But lately, something has shifted.
Not in a dramatic “I burned everything down and reinvented myself” kind of way.
Actually, quite the opposite.
I’m finally learning that I don’t have to keep starting over.
Brewed Ambitions Isn’t Starting Over
That’s probably the biggest thing I want to say with this post.
This isn’t another rebrand.
I’m not throwing everything away and starting from scratch.
I’m not announcing seventeen new businesses.
And somewhere, Canva just shed a single tear.
Instead, I’m looking at everything I’ve already built and asking a much better question:
What is actually worth continuing?
Because there is a difference between something needing to be abandoned and something simply needing a little attention.
Brewed Ambitions has been sitting here through all of my different seasons.
And the more I’ve looked at where I want to go next, the more obvious it has become:
This blog is still something I want to build.
Not because someone on Pinterest told me blogging is passive income.
Not because I think I’m going to write three posts and magically wake up to thousands of dollars in affiliate commissions.
And definitely not because I have discovered some secret formula for having your entire life and business figured out.
Quite frankly, if that’s what you’re looking for, you may have taken a wrong turn somewhere on the internet.
But if you’re building something while simultaneously figuring out what the hell you’re doing?
Pull up a chair.
You’re probably in the right place.
So… What Is Brewed Ambitions Now?
At its heart, Brewed Ambitions is about building a life and business that actually works for you.
Not the Instagram version.
Not the perfectly curated entrepreneur sitting at a spotless desk at 5 a.m. with her green smoothie, completed morning routine and color-coded quarterly goals.
I’m talking about the real version.
The version where sometimes you’re wildly productive and sometimes the dog escapes the camper before you’ve finished your first cup of coffee.
The version where you’re learning SEO one day and contemplating a nap the next.
The version where you have big ambitions but also have a family, responsibilities, bills, laundry, relationships, changing priorities and an actual life happening around those ambitions.
That’s the space I want Brewed Ambitions to occupy.
We’re going to talk about blogging, online business, working from home, marketing, productivity, tools and resources, making money online, and the lessons I’m learning while building my own businesses.
But we’re also going to talk about the life happening around all of it.
Because I don’t believe those things exist separately.
The entire reason most of us want more flexibility, more income or our own businesses in the first place is because we want those things to support our lives.
The business isn’t supposed to become the whole damn life.
I’m Building This Right Alongside You
I think this is another distinction that’s important to make.
I’m not writing Brewed Ambitions from the mountaintop.
I’m still climbing the damn thing.
I’m experimenting with SEO.
I’m learning more about Pinterest.
I’m working on affiliate marketing.
I’m updating old blog posts and discovering things Past Ashley apparently thought were perfectly acceptable to publish.
I’m learning which ideas deserve my attention and which ones need to be lovingly escorted back to the shiny-object parking lot.
I’m building Brewed Clarity alongside the blog.
And I’ve recently stepped into a new opportunity that is putting me in rooms where I’m learning even more about entrepreneurship, marketing, networking, conversations, sales and what actually helps businesses grow.
Some things will work.
Some won’t.
And when something completely bombs, there’s a pretty good chance we’re going to talk about that too.
Because I am much more interested in sharing what actually happens than pretending every experiment turns into a six-figure success story.
What You’ll Find Here Going Forward
You’re going to start seeing more intentional content around a few core areas.
Blogging and content creation — what I’m learning about creating useful content, SEO, Pinterest, traffic and building a blog that can eventually become a meaningful business asset.
Business and entrepreneurship — especially the messy beginning and middle stages where you have ideas but you’re trying to figure out which ones deserve your time.
Marketing and visibility — practical ways to help people actually find the thing you’ve worked so hard to create.
Working from anywhere — because my version of working from home sometimes involves working from a camper several hours away from home, and apparently we’re just embracing that now.
Tools and resources — the things I actually use, try or genuinely think are useful. If something contains an affiliate link, I’ll always tell you. And I’m not interested in recommending random crap just because somebody will pay me a commission.
And probably some real-life chaos, because pretending that part doesn’t exist would make this a very short-lived experiment.
The goal isn’t to publish just for the sake of saying I published something.
I want the things you find here to actually help.
Sometimes that might mean teaching you something.
Sometimes it might mean pointing you toward a useful resource.
Sometimes it might simply mean you read something and think:
“Oh thank God. Someone else is figuring this shit out too.”
That counts.
And Yes, There’s Brewed Clarity
Brewed Clarity is also part of this bigger picture, but it’s not replacing Brewed Ambitions.
If anything, they make sense sitting beside each other.
Brewed Ambitions is where I share what I’m learning, what I’m trying and what might help you build something of your own.
Brewed Clarity is where I can help when you’re staring at twelve ideas, seventeen possibilities and one very tired brain wondering:
“Okay… but what the hell do I actually do next?”
Turns out I have quite a bit of experience with that particular situation.
Go figure. 😂
But I’m also being intentional about letting each thing have its own job instead of trying to turn every idea into another entire brand.
Growth does not always require adding more.
Sometimes it means finally using what you’ve already built.
The Next Chapter of Brewed Ambitions
So no giant relaunch.
No dramatic transformation.
No declaration that I’ve finally figured everything out.
Just a decision to take this little corner of the internet seriously again.
We’re going to make the existing content better.
We’re going to create new content that’s actually useful.
We’re going to connect the dots between the things we’re learning.
We’re going to experiment.
We’re going to pay attention to what works.
And we’re going to build from there.
Slowly enough that the business doesn’t consume the life we’re supposedly building it for.
Consistently enough that we’re actually giving it a chance to grow.
And imperfectly enough that I don’t drive myself completely fucking insane in the process.

A Note From the Office Staff 🐾
Management would also like everyone to know that the Office Staff remain fully employed at Brewed Ambitions despite an ongoing pattern of questionable workplace behavior.
Their current responsibilities include supervising all snacks, interrupting meetings, sleeping through most business hours, providing unsolicited opinions, and ensuring no task is completed without at least one completely unnecessary interruption.
One staff member has also recently expanded his role to include unauthorized off-site field research, resulting in a campground-wide pursuit before management had properly consumed her morning coffee.
His performance review is pending. 😂
They have requested increased compensation in the form of treats, additional nap breaks, and unrestricted access to management’s personal space.
Their requests are under review.
So yes, as Brewed Ambitions enters its next chapter, rest assured:
The Office Staff aren’t going anywhere.
Mostly because apparently they live here. 🐾☕️
