Marketing When You’re Tired, Broke, and Over It

Let’s be real: not every day is a high-vibe, batch-15-reels-and-slay-your-launch kind of day. Sometimes marketing feels like dragging your emotional support water bottle to your desk and whispering, “Please let someone buy something so I don’t have to sell my soul or my favorite hoodie.”

And yet—your biz still needs you to show up.

Even if it’s messy. Even if you’re in pajama pants and haven’t washed your hair in three days.

So let’s talk about how to market yourself when you’re absolutely over it, but still want to bring in the sales.

1. Keep It Stupid Simple

No fancy strategy. No 47-step funnel.

Post something. One thing. Just show up and talk like a real human. Say:

“This thing I made? It helps. Here’s the link. Grab it if you need it.”

That’s marketing. You did it.

2. Repurpose Like a Rebel

You don’t need to reinvent anything.

Take an old post that did well → change the caption → add a new graphic → DONE.

Or turn:

  • A Canva quote into a reel
  • A reel into an email
  • An email into a blog post (like this one!)

Tired brains deserve easy wins. 🧠💤

☕ 3. Be Realer Than the Algorithm

Some of my best marketing came from posts that started with:

“This week has been a dumpster fire, but I still want to show up…”

People are exhausted by perfect. They want to buy from someone they trust. So give them you—flaws, dog hair, and all.

☕ 4. Sell Without Being Salesy

Want a low-energy CTA? Try this:

“I made something that might help. No pressure, just vibes. Here’s the link.”

Or:

“Not gonna pitch hard today. But if you’re looking for [result], this might be what you need: [link]”

Soft selling is still selling.

☕ 5. Celebrate the Tiny Wins

Got a like on your post?

Someone clicked the link but didn’t buy?

You answered an email even though you wanted to throw your phone into the moon?

👏 Celebrate. It all counts.

Final Thoughts:

Marketing when you’re over it doesn’t have to be loud, pushy, or perfect.

It just has to be consistent.

So take a sip, make a post, and remember:

You’re building something bigger than today’s mood.

You’ve got this. Even if you’re tired. Even if today’s a mess.

Especially then.
